AMF Star Suspended Ceiling Kit – 60-Minute Fire Rated (Tiles, Grid, Trim & Fixings)
Product Code: JCS-STARKIT
Our AMF THERMATEX® Star ceiling kit provides 60-minute fire protection under both steel and concrete soffits, making it a trusted solution for compliant and safe ceiling installations. Supplied with robust Knauf Donn 24mm Ceiling Grid and sleek, modern tiles, this kit is designed for easy installation and long-lasting performance across commercial, educational, and office environments.
The kit includes everything required for a full suspended ceiling system — ceiling tiles, main tees, cross tees, perimeter trim, suspension wire, and angle brackets. Just add screws to fix your brackets, and you're ready to go.
Suspended ceiling tiles and grid systems are commonly used within ceiling constructions that have been tested for fire resistance performance. When installed as part of a suitable tested ceiling build-up beneath concrete or steel structures, systems using these components may contribute to ceiling assemblies capable of achieving fire resistance performance such as 30 or 60 minutes.
Fire resistance performance depends on the complete ceiling construction, including the structural substrate, hanger configuration, plenum depth, fixing method and installation in accordance with the tested system specification and manufacturer guidance.
Important: Suspended ceiling kits are supplied as component packages based on typical system layouts. Verification that any ceiling construction meets the required fire resistance performance for a specific project remains the responsibility of the project designer, fire engineer, installer or building control authority.
